Gautam Mazumdar is a trader, teacher, and lifelong student of the markets. With over two decades of experience navigating the tides of technical analysis, he brings both structure and scepticism to the craft. What began as a quiet curiosity in the early ’90s—sparked by old newspaper columns—grew into a career that blended market participation with mentorship
Formally trained as a mechanical engineer, Gautam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. His analytical grounding in systems and structure has quietly shaped the way he approaches the markets—methodical, rule-based, and always questioning.
He has trained more than 2,000 students across India, many of whom now walk their own trading paths with confidence. Known for his clear thinking and no-nonsense style, Gautam prefers systems over superstition, and preparation over prediction.
When not decoding charts, he finds joy in tending to his garden—home to more than a hundred varieties of roses. Perhaps one day, that might become a book too.
